Default Roller conversion

Hey guys sometime in the near future I was planning on converting to a roller cam and I was wondering what all is needed for that. I have the lifters, h-pieces, tray, and hold down bolts. I think I read that I will need hardened push rods for it also. Planning on a Ford Racing E-cam. I also have a set of Ford Racing 1.6 roller rockers. What else will I need to put these on my stock 289 heads?
Thanks, Lee

Are your parts from a kit like the Crane conversion kit? I thought that is the only way to do it for a non-roller block...

The lifters, tray, and h pieces were off a fox body and the roller rockers are just some that my brother had laying around(brand new) so I got those from him. I didn't buy the Crane kit b/c this route has only cost me $20 so far. I just need to know if I need anything else such as pushrods. Thanks, Lee

Greatly reduced internal friction and quieter operation. It allows you to use a more agressive cam profile also. The roller cam will make the exhaust sound a lot better too.

If those parts came off a roller block, and you don't have a roller block, they probably won't work...

If you look at the roller conversion kit made by comp cams what they have is pretty much the same as what I have. I think this link is pretty much all I need. Thanks for the input guys, Lee

It will not work! I have both a roller and non-roller blocks at my house that I verified this with. The non-roller block does not have the same lifter bore depths. The conversion kit has lifters that are made for the shorter lifter bore. If you take the normal roller lifters and put them in on the cam and then try to put on the H-pieces, you will see that the lifter will lift the h-piece when on top of the lobe. The other issue you run into is where the lifter oiler is, the non-roller bore does not align properly with the oil hole and you will loose oil pressure.
