Default Denver Auto Show Tonight

I am going to the auto show tonight. Anyone else going to make it? I am looking forward to seeing the '15 in person.

Anyone interested in meeting up for the show?

I was thinking of going, but probably this weekend. I too would like to see the '15...even though we'll be seeing them every day pretty soon

I made it to the show. I had reservations about the 15 and honestly, I don't care for it. The body style is throwing me off. My wife was excited by the pictures and videos she saw but then seeing it in person, she said she hated it. Fortunately a lot of people apparently do like it, so the mustang is far from dead and hopefully it will grow on me over time. Did you drive the simulator? I did and it was pretty fun. They guy running that said it costs 100k!!

Really wanted to do the simulator, but the lines were always too long...came back right before the convention ended, thinking that there wouldn't be much of a line, but they had closed it. So I went and did the Mazda one instead (which was iRacing---good simulation software). Haha, every single one of the kids in front of me failed to brake for turn one, flew off into sand and got stuck, then complained about how "this isn't like the Ford one" and "this car sucks". The Ford simulator was apparently Gran Turismo with driving aids on, not the most realistic thing in the world, but I bet it was a ton of fun. Highly doubt it costs 100K, but it's still an impressive piece of machinery, wish I could've done it to compare. If you enjoyed that and you're in Denver, you might go check out the iRacing sims at Unser Racing (the karting place), very similar to what was at the Ford booth. Although, last time I was there, they didn't work

It's funny because I have friends who keep saying lets go to Unser racing. I have little interest because Im having so much fun in my Shelby! But I guess I should give it a shot. I've heard its a good time.

Yeah, it's almost always a good time. It can be pricey though, and there have been a couple times where I thought "wow, what a poorly run business!" They seem to be getting better, though. I'd go on a Tuesday or Thursday night where they do buy one get one race. I went last week actually, and the simulator is back up (one of them is anyway, they used to have two), it's $10 for 10 minutes. I wanted to do it but didn't end up having time. It would be cool to set up a meet there!
