Default Locking Center Console and Smaller Fron Headrests

I like to leave my top down in my travels but I'd like to be able to keep some stuff in the center console without having it ripped off. Does anyone know of someone who makes a locking console lid for my '06 ?

Also - I'm not fond of the large size or shape of the front headrests in my '06. Does anyone know of someone selling smaller headrests in black leather?

I'd love this feature as well.... be really nice if I didn't have to use the glove box. Not much room for storage in there!!

I just put my stuff in the trunk, but that would be a great feature.

I don't like the headrests either. Are they reversible?

Margarita Girl "I don't like the headrests either. Are they reversible?"

I think you could reverse them but they will not "lock" into position. I went into my dealer and pulled a headrest out of a Ford Fusion. It's smaller and doesn't bend forward like ours do. I think they look far better. I didn't try one but I then saw a headrest in a Ford 500. I think it's a little bit smaller yet and will match my black leather better. The dealer in Calgary wants $150 each - which is a rip off. I'm sure I could get them much cheaper from a US dealer.

I thought I'd check some auto wreckers first. No luck so far. I've been told they'd sell the headrests with the seats. Maybe I'll have to buy them new from a dealer after all.

If you call a dealer in your city for a quote, please let me know what they say.
