Default OEM vs aftermarket hydraulic hoses

I need to replace the top hydraulic hose set for my 2001 GT. The quote I'm getting for OEM is $320 but I found several sites offering new aftermarket hoses for around $100 to $125. Is there a cost benefit to the OEM or should I go with aftermarket from a reputable manufacturer/distributor? My son who is going to do the actual work says the aftermarket should be just as good but the price differential makes me wonder.
