Problems with convertible top
If anyone knows how to fix this - short of going to get a professional job done (low on $$) please let me know..
My '98 GT is an Arizona car and has a black top that has to endure an average temp 0f 110 deg in the summer. The vinal top has disconnected from the top of the back window - about a 1-2 foot area - and it does leak in if and when it rains. Other than duct tape, which would look pretty bad, does anyone know of a remedy to fix my issue? THX! ND in AZ |
RE: Problems with convertible top
take it to a reputable upholstery shop and get a repair estimate. It could possibly be repaired and resewn for less dough. Other than that. Fork at a few hundred for a new top and risk putting it on yourself. Getting a new one professionally isntalled will run you 750 - 1500 properly installed.
