Default Rear window leak and inoperable rear defroster

Well when it rains and I turn the corner it sounds like a tidal wave where the convertible top would fold into. Do I need a new back window or just some more silicone? I got a new top last winter and the water builds up whenever it rains. Plus now that its cold I can't seem to get my back window clean. I know one of the defroster clips are broke. How do I fix it?
