I have a 2002 convertible and it is missing the boot. I have been searching around for one with little luck (there are a few on eBay). It seems much easier to boots for other years than the 99-04. All of the ones I found were black. Last night while searching I came across this site:

They sell 99-04 boots in various colors to match your top. These are non-OEM, anyone try them? Wondering how they fit.

i have one that is similar but by a different company. it fits pretty well. you do realize that covers the whole back seat area and not just the top well.... it has hooks that go in the holes where the front seat belts come out, then there are little tabs all the way around that fold under the trim piece that goes around the back, and there are a couple of flaps that tuck under the rear seat to hold that part down. it makes the back seat into a nice little cubby hole to store stuff.

You are right and that is not what I am looking for. Other site refer to those as tonneau covers which is what threw me. Good thing I posted before ordering. So does anyone know besides eBay where you can order a regular boot for a 99 to 04 Mustang?

right off hand, the only place i know that has them are mustangsunlimited.com they only carry red and black for the 99/04 cars though. not sure what color you are looking for.
