door bangs on big bumps when driving. checked the window its ok. anyone have this and what did you do to fix it.

Misbehavin

Check the latch on the door. It should have a plastic coating on it, and over time the coating wears away. The metal on the latch and the door post will then rattle together as you drive over bumps.

To solve it you can replace the latch, which is the more expensive route. You can also take a thin piece of something like self adhesive felt, and wrap it around the latch post on the car.
