Convertible top

Has anybody ever installed or replaced a convertible top before? How hard was it? What tools are needed to do the install.

I am looking at replacing mine here soon and just want to know what I am getting myself into.

Thanks

I did mine, you will need industrial adhesive to glue some parts down and an air staple gun, and stong fingers, set it in the hot sun so it is stretchable and be prepared to give your fingers a work out, it is not a job for the novice, it took me a few tries and 14 hrs later I was done and had all the wrinkles out, that is the tough part, getting it placed right to work all the wrinkes out, I had to replace my tack strips which are rivited in place which is why it took me longer.

Wow...I have been told it is a lot of work. I am calling around to see what people charge to do it. So far, 1500 is what I am getting. I will continue to research before I decide to do it myself.

BTW.....what size rims do you have on that middle mustang???? Looking to put those on mine but I wondered what would be a good size.
