Default Looking at 86 gt convertable....

Car has no rust, has a solid paint job, new top. Runs great, the guy disconnected the rear quarter windows because his grandkids screwed with them too much when he drove in it with them (or so he says). Cruise works, original factory ford tape player still works. My question is, are the 86 models computer controled? What type of code reader would I need to buy for doing work on it? Where could I FIND the code reader? How much would one cost? The car does not leak, the guy wants 3500, but I am going back out and am going to start at 2800.......

Oh, it shifts good too.....
