How to change the vertical quarter windows rubber pieces?

How to change the vertical quarter windows rubber pieces?
Have new vertical rubber trim pieces and there is obviously a way to get the outer trim pieces off the replace the rubber?
Ideas would be great...someone must have done this job a lot of times as most convertible rubber pieces are broken or need replacing.

When I bought my convertible (used) the passenger rear quarter window rubber strip was broken. I thought it would be an easy replacement. Its not.
I ended up buying a window from a bone yard for $40.00, if I recall the price correctly. maybe it was $90 I don't remember anymore.
Either way I spent several weeks trying to figure out a way to repair it instead of replace.
I got my window at http://mpsautosalvage.com/ They were very helpful and friendly. I will definitely use them again if I need to.
