Which weatherstrip/seal to fix this hole?
Greetings All,
At the backend of the quarter window seals there is a roughly 1" hole between the convertible top and car - what seal/weather strip would fix this? Its getting really bad lately with heavy rain - had to take out the rear seat to dry them out and keep the car from getting smelly...
Initially I was thinking getting a pair of these would fix the seal, but if you see the pictures below, my originals look like they are intact?:

On my '02, the top sits more forward, filling the space up to the curve in the outer trim piece and the glass. This closes that opening. All your seals look like mine....I have nothing different in place.

Bob,
I too think there is nothing unusual about your weatherseals.
I'm suspicious that the leak is coming in from somewhere else. Like maybe at the junction where the back glass and top meet the black rear metal trim. This is a common place for a stress tear to happen.
Of course, I recently had a customer who complained about her top leaking and after checking out the top, I found that the A/C system was draining the condensation into the car because the exterior draintube was plugged up.

Same here, on my '03. It doesn't look to me like Bob01's conv top fits properly. Would it be an after-market replacement top?
