Top stopped working on my 95
My 95 GT blew out one of the top cylinders years ago, and I just manually put it up and down. I have a new Ford cylinder I bought years ago, but never installed it. Before it blew out the one cylinder it worked perfectly. Once I put the cylinder in, could someone walk me through the latest, correct way to fill the system up and bleed it? My back seats are already out from when I painted it, so I want to get it working again. Thanks for any help!

Mark,
This is something I do on a regular basis as I am a ragtop technician.
I'm concerned that you aren't replacing both cylinders.
When you replace, fill and put it all back together, are you prepared to go thru this process again 3 months later when the other cylinder goes bad?
The pump does not need to be bled. It is not a pressurized system, just a pump with fins spinning fluid.
Just be sure to use Dexron 3 automatic transmission fluid to fill the pump.
