How to get wax residue off black textured plastic?
I've gotten wax on the window trim on my 06 gt. I can armour all it and it covers it up good, but eventually it shows up again. How can i rid myself of the wax once and for all?

I read in some other forums that peanut butter works. Apparently the oil is what removes the wax. I didn't have any peanut butter due to that recall a few weeks ago.
Instead I tried some miracle whip. It seemed to work, but it's to soon to tell after all amour all seems to work, but doesn't.
I decided to go over the miracle whip with a coating of amour all to discourage any animals from making a sandwich.

If you want to go "over the counter" Black Magic works well. I carry Poorboys Pro Polish that works well at taking wax off of trim. Also Poorboys Trim Restorer works excellent on trim. Peanut butter works, but makes a mess!

Try Goo Gone. It's on the cleaning aisle at Wal-Mart. Totally organic for any of those and "removes sticky, gummy, greasy, gooey problems." It also says wax on the label.
