Default Waxing problem

Let us pretend for an minute that some idiot had an 05 mustang gt... and in the process of waxing it he got some wax on some vinyl that he dident tape over first. How would this idiot restore the vinyl or is he stuck with that haze color untill he buys a replacement piece? [sm=smiley19.gif]

use asatone(prob spelt wrong, its a very high strength industrial cleaner). put some on a cotton ball. DO NOT GET ANY ON YOUR PAINT!!! It takes the wax off of the plastic, and any thing else. if its painted plastic dont use it.

EDIT: dont sniff it either.

What is vinyl on the outside of the car that you, or, I mean this suspect person got wax on [&:] I always use WD40 to remove the haze from plastic parts, so I'm assuming this would work on vinyl as well.

Meguiars #39 is a vinyl/plastic prep. Works really good on interior and exterior.
