I've become obsessive

When I bought my '07 GT last year, it was like new. I now find myself obsessed with keeping it that way.

I got some paper floor mats so I don't mess up the carpeting when driving.

Today I parked the car under a tree, and of course there was sap on it afterwards. I was going to wait until the weekend to spray some detailer on it and wipe it down, but instead found myself out in the alley going over it just before sundown.

I'm sick. ;)

Yup, know how that goes. Use california duster all the damn time on cruise nights.

Ive become obsessive about the exterior appearance of my car. Everyone compliments on how I always have it clean and there is rarely a speck of dust on it. My boss even told me I need help because I spent an hour cleaning my rims. And I still wasnt satisfied.

Definitely feel you on being obsessive. I try to wash my car 3-4 times a week, and get aggrivated by a single swirl mark or surface scratch.

I'm in the same boat. Took the car out yesterday, the minute I got home, I was cleaning off the four or five small bugs that I hit. Oh, and had to quick detail the hand marks on the passenger side from my buddy having his arm out the window. That stuff drives me nuts

My issue with the Kona blue paint on my 'Stang is small, closely-knit dust spots that are hard to wipe off dry. I highly recommend Spray and Wipe for quick removal of light surface impurities.

A few sure fire ways to keep your car looking and running like new :

- always let the kids eat ice cream in the car when it's above 90 degrees
- always park as close to the mall as possible
- always park next to the rusted out Chevy at the mall and as close to it as possilble
- always take speed bumps at 80 mph
- always have your car vallet parked and as you toss your keys to the vallet, say, "there you go a$$hole, no tip".

you should not worry about it.
