Who's the cleanest freak on this site
My stats go like this:
Picked up the 2009 500 14 months ago
The car has 800 miles on the odometer
I have applied 160 coats of polish/wax
That's an average of 1 coat every 5 miles
3-4 hours per coat = 560 hrs spent detailing or 14 full work weeks/40hrs per week.
Married 19 years with no kids so I have lots of time on my hands.
Post up the stats to knock me off

I am not allowed to post any as of yet I will say the car is freakishly clean though. My last car during appraisal was said to be void of orange peel and the 05gt had 193 coats of polish wax. I already have eliminated the orange peel on the 09=sweet. Since I have started driving I will estimate I have polished/waxed my cars 900+ times, the wifes several hundred. I blame the infantry unit I served with ie clean clean clean and because it was not clean enough clean some more. I will post pics as soon as I am allowed.

Also, you are aware that you are eliminating clear coat when you're polishing by a machine, right?
I also hope you're stripping the old wax off before applying the new wax. There is such a thing as over waxing.
3-4 hours for wax? Please fill me in on what wax has to cure fo that long. I hope you wax in a sealed, dust proof area aswell. Dust sticks fo wax instantly. Apparently if you're taking 3 hours to wax, that's a lot of dust causing swirls in your paint.

I've probably put a good 300 hours into my car. Between both cars, over 500+. Both are daily drivers, and put show-cars to shame in a lot of cases(no offense).
A wax should only take 45 minutes or so max, although, letting it sit for hours to haze or cure won't do any good. Although, I want to see pics of the GT500 with over 500+ hours. Should be a sweet looking ride.
