Default Getting rid of surface scratch

I've got a 12" surface scratch that Meguires scratch x 2.0 or Turtle wax compound wont remove. When I run my fingernail through it doesn't catch, so that tells me it's indeed a surface scratch. I did use something years ago that I bought at Walmart that removed a scratch and it never reappeared. I just can't remember the name of the product.

Thanks in advance for all replies.

Can you get a picture of it? Is it through the clear coat?

ScratchX is a relatively mild scratch remover. Hit up Walmart and buy a bottle of Meguiar's Ultimate Compound. It's strong enough to remove 1500 grit wet sanding marks and finishes out nice.
