Hey guys heres my question. I need a parts car for my 66 and found this car not to far from me but its a 65 will they work to get here. Heres a link to the car.

most or all the parts are interchangeable for 65 or 66. which parts are you going to use?

 

Mainly the frontend. Need to fix this.

I know the grills were differnt and some other things were too. So Ill have to buy other parts but I mainly need the front of the unibody and the front panel ect.

 

The 65 and the 66 are the same car except for some cosmetic differences, so yes, the front clip will hook up to your wrecked 66.

 

im sorry to see your car like that. the front end will fit. the parts on my 66 is from my friends spare 65 parts. what are you going to do with the rest of the parts car after you get the front end you need

 

I think sell it. Do you think that car would be a good donor.

 

if there is little or no rust in the frame rails than it is a excellent deal. i wish i could find a car like that let me know when you are ready to sell the donor parts car. good luck with your car.

 

Actually, for 3250 that loooks like a possible restoration that will be a better way to go than fixing up your wrecked 66. Yeah, I know the history of your wrecked 66, but I would prefer to start with a straight body like that one seems to have. Why hack up a perfectly good classic, when you can order a front clip and fenders, etc., for less than hacking up this classic?

 

yeah. that 65 is clean, minus the small amt of rust. i'd go for that as a quick fix and on the road and take your time with your baby. can't beat having 2 classics!
