Just curious on who left there trunk the body color and who painted it with splatter trunk paint?

 

U mean the splatter trunk mats? Ive never heard of the paint...

I just got done completely sanding mine down and primed. Id like to see some pics of that!

 

ive seen it done at car shows but it was on a 68 or 69 though

 

Yeah, the splatter paint wasn't used on the 65-66 models. The gas tanks were left natural and the rest was body color. I am still waiting on my springtime yellow spray to spray my tank.

 

mine was painted the first time the car got a color change. when i do it, it will be painted inside and out!

 

i have mine painted black primer with clear coat i dont know why but its shiny and only cost $5

 

hey if it looks good thats all that matters!! mine is body color it 2000 cobra"R" red(performance red) i just like calling it cobra r red for some reason idk? i like the look of the body shultz we use at work makes the trunk look like new money! and its fairly cheap nad u dont have to worry about scratching the paint!

 

My primer looks a hell lot better than it used to. Im going to do the whole trunk semi-flat black like the tank...

 

por15 is nice in trunks and is extremely durable do it once and never again!

 

And expensive!
