Default thanks for all your help! Thought everyone might like to see my project in progress.

So today I drove it! Filled the tank up with gas... clogged the fuel filter and fuel pump with crap from the old fuel line, but took it all apart and got it to move once I added some more ATF to the tranny... however a pinhole in a tranny cooling line cut the drive out of the garage short. nonetheless, it was still very exciting. Here is a before and after picture showing 7 months of progress... I hope to get it registered in the coming weeks and finish the interior this summer, before taking the I6 and C4 out to replace a built 302 and Ford Racing T-5 in my garage.

Looking good. Why is it sitting so high though?

2 reasons... it just came off the lift when i took the pic... so suspension was still unsprung and second, the V8 suspension parts are allready in it (Grab-a-trak mid eye leafs in the rear and global west tublar control arms with Grab-a-trak drop coils in the front) so its a little stiff for the 6 banger... but i also though the same thing when i posted the pic...lol

Bryan,

I dig your student resources. Have you had your car at the school shop? I bet your students dig the Stang.
