yes, that would be the one....how much did it cost you to do that in total? is there cutting of metal involved? what about if you get that panel with the buckets already built into it?

The tail lights and panel that I used were both from Mustang Project. I like the fitment of both. Their tailingts are flat LEDs so you do not have to cut the stock tail light panel to get them to work. The regular 65 t-bird lights that came with the 68 Shelby's and California Specials you have to cut the tail light panel because the tail light buckets are so deep. Mustang project is the only one I know of that does the flat LED lights. The panel will either screw in or rivet in with no modifications other than drilling holes. They are pricey but they are only slightly more than putting together a really nice stock set up. The lights were $490 and the panel was $160. The LEDs are also sequential and to make stock lights sequential you will spend more than I did on this. If you are doing this on a fastback you just need the lights and the panel. On a coupe the deck lid dips down in the middle so you will either have to use the shelby deck lid and quater extensions with the flip, modifiy your deck lid as I did or modify the tail light panel so the deck lid will close. I cut my deck lid straight across the bottom and I will be using the stock 68 moldings for the quater extensions and the deck lid. Here are all the pic I could find of this part of my project. In the last picture you can see that I blocked of the stock tail light holes so the water would not leak in.

Make sure you get the right panel for the lights you are using. The 67 Shelby's used the cougar tail lights and they are slightly tapered and require a different panel than the ones I'm using. I have the 68 Shelby / GT/CS lights and panel.

okay well i will just show you what im looking at and you can tell me what you think....supposidly theres not supposed to be any cutting with this setup......

Deck Lid - http://www.trophymustang.com/coupe-deck-p-6955.html

End Caps - http://www.trophymustang.com/cp-cv-end-caps-p-6951.html

Panel - http://www.trophymustang.com/tail-li...ts-p-6956.html (apparently the only cutting is jsut cutting holes in this to mount the lights...dosent seem too hard...)

All of that will work. I didn't do the dick lid because I didn't want the flip on the back. The only other thing I can see that you will need is the wiring. You could make your own if you wanted. This set up will not be sequential but if your not worried about that then the parts you showed will work well.

You will have to cut the original tail light panel to get the sockets to plug in though.

Hmm...I don't know. They claim you don't have to cut the original tail light panel but I'm not sure how you would get the sockets plugged in if you don't.
