I recently bought a 67 Cougar. It has a bunch of convience switches for misc lights. I pulled them apart cleaned the contacts and reassemled. I ohmed them out when finished and they worked perfectly. Gotta love the old mechanical stuff...

 

Ha my excort ZX2 , you'll love this if you take the gauge pack out to put a face in it for example. Well you can't touch the needle because they'll loose they're "natural position" and then they are shot and need replaced. HOW RETARDED... ohh and the needle on the speedometer controlls the shut off point too
