Lincoln LSC disc brake rear axle
Hi Guys,
A friend of mine has a Lincoln LSC rear axle sitting out in front of his garage. Although it's been exposed to the elements for a while, it is complete from rotor to rotor. He got it for his '40 Ford panel truck, but he's going to use something else.
He has offered it to me for $450.00. Does anyone here know any of the particulars on this rear end? I haven't measured it yet, but does anyone know (off the bat) if this axle could be used on my 64 1/2? Or, should I get a disc brake kit for what is more than likely an 8" rear that is already in my car?
Thanks in Advance,
Brian

450$my goodness im assuming this is the solid rear axle from a Mark 7 not the Mark 8 correct??
the Mark7 uses an 8.8 rear just like the 5.0 mustangs but is even wider by .75 incs on each side iirc the stock mustang rear is too wide
