Default 1970 convert advice

im looking at buying a 1970 convert. today there asking 3,500 . the ad says it runs and drives like a 'champ'', The car has a 302 and a c4 trans. Its not really the car im looking for but it looks like a good deal? and i always liked the fastback. anyway here's my Q.... how rare are these cars? and what should i look out for. It has some rust on the corners of the doors and the ad said the floor needs to be replaced . Any thoughts???

I just bought a 70 convert... love it! only 7000 some odd produced. I'm not sure but that seems like a small number to the 190,000 other models produced. Thats not even 5%!!!!!

price sounds great if it runs good and isn't rusted out. I'd grab it before they change their minds.

price seems really low. i would buy that if it was like they said it was. probably a good idea to double check everything yourself though. even if you could get that car and only thing wrong with it was an engine rebuild id still buy it lol
