Color Help?
Hey,
Ok i have a 69 coupe 302 and want to give it a new paint job. I was thinking of painting it Presidential Blue with two silver stripes down the center (to give it that restomod look) Would like to know your opinions on it and if you have any other cool color combos
Looking forward to seeing what comes up
This is Presidential Blue

Go for it dude. Presidential blue looks awesome. Dunno about the stripes though.
If your car is going to be shown as a factory car, then yes it would hurt the value but only to someone who was looking for a factory vehicle. That's the great thing about Mustangs is that there are SOOO many out there, you can do pretty much whatever you want with them and as long as it's tasteful, there's always a buyer if you want to sell!
I am looking at buying what is called a '67 in Presidential Blue. However, it looks like that color didn't come out until '68, right? The paint job looks original to me, so it's probably a '68. Why would the seller lie, or did he take the previous owner's word on it? There doesn't seem to be any benefit to calling it a '67. I don't get it.
