Engine choices?
I was thinking of swapping my inline 6 for a 302, But i've been thinking and reading and researching, And i've come to a conclusion.
Can a 351w fit on my 67 mustang?
If so. What do i have to change in the engine compartment to make it fit. I've heard that they make many items to make the 351w faster. I know i have to change, Suspension, Brakes, Drivetrain etc. But will it be a good choice or should i go With another engine choice?
I want this car to be fast, Mainly for racing (weekend Toy)
So please Help me, Thanks.

I'm thinking since they are both SBF, it's a simple bolt in. If not, motor mounts and flywheel are about all I can think of. Header choice might be limited, and a couple of spark plugs might be a PITA, but for the power it's well worth it. I'm sure I'll be corrected if I'm wrong, so give it a minute.
A built 351W will give you the best bang for the bucks and over 400hp. Mounts are the same but the transmission mount will have to be different. The drive shaft will also have to be shortened to fit. The deck height is also taller so a cowl induction hood works well if you put a high rise intake on the 351W.
Sounds like a plan to me!![sm=smiley20.gif]
Good luck
