Is anyone taking their classic to the Aug 6 car show at MIS?

I'm planning on going. It sounds like a pretty big show. It's going to be my first time there.

I hear they will be offering to let the show cars do a parade lap or two on the speedway.

Post if you are planning to attend. It would be interesting to meet some of the people and their rides!

MIS ROCKS!!!

The Aug 9 show at Michigan International Speedway was great! There were over 860 classics. The Onsted Kiwanis sponsered the Show Car Nationals. There was a lot of live music, muffler blast contests & a flame throwing contest if anyone is into that. The flam throwing contest didnt interest me much though.

The best part was doing laps on the track after the show! I'll never watch a NASCAR race the same way again! They took us out in groups of 50 and we went anywhere from 70mph (sanctioned limit up to 110mph+).

I saw Bluelady73 there. That's a really sweet car she has!
