Chrome Maintenance
Looking for some advice on some really good chrome polish/protectant. I don't know about everyone else, but it seems that keeping chrome looking good is alot of work. I'm assuming that the humidity here in central Indiana is the major culprit. Anyone using anything that works really well? The Meguiars chrome polish I'm using works well to remove the cloudy film, but doesn't seem to last very long before another application is needed.
Also, I'm trying to keep my garage as dry as possible. Bought a 5 gallon dehumidifier that has been filling up almost twice a day.
Thanks

I use the kind of chrome polish that comes in a can with these pull away cloth type thingies.
It cleans the chrome and adds a film that you polish away. Look for the "Eagle" brand in pepboys or autozone.

I use American Racing Wheel Polish.
1) Polish your chrome/aluminum EXACTLY how you want it.
2) Apply Wheel Polish (For front rims apply 2x)
3) Re-apply once a month.
After you hit it with the wheel polish, you can clean off the chrome with regular spray detailer. It friggin works!

Anyone tried "Metal Armor" ? They have a two step polish and sealant. Kinda pricey.
