try doing a search, or check out the stickied section called Top 25 things todo to your mustang.
But off hand most people will say
Get it driveable and safe first.
Disc Brake swap and new master cynder.
Shocks, springs.
Motor work
the things you need if your gonna drive it.
Me, I say do whatcha want. Me for instance I have a lifter knocking, I'm rebuilding my engine and buying wheels and tires. After that I'm gonna do the brake and suspension work this winter. Then body work, interior and paint. There is always more then one way to rebuild a stang. Gluck, there are alot of smart, knowledgable people on here, so don't be affraid to ask questions, but always do a search first

Shaun pretty much summed it up. It's your car, do whatever you want to do with it. Just keep in mind that if you are going to put that Mustang on the street, then it needs to be safe and drievable for all concerned.
