Overhaulin, TV show
Might be a repost, if so disregard.
Friend of mine told me, Overhaulin will have a (he thinks) 67 or 68 stang on it tonight. Just what I heard so figured I'd pass it on. I like some of Foose's stuff but some of it, well some of it is plain out ugly.

I caught the end of the show, last half hour after Tommy Lee goes to college.
The car was sweet to begin with, but after Chip and the crew got done with it, it was a work of art. I liked all of it except the wheels, I think they were like 20 inches and the rear was tubbed. Someone on another board said it best that it looked almost like one of those MuscleMachine die cast cars. I agree with Jinxed, some of what Chip does is awesome (I wish I had 1/32nd of his talent when it comes to cars) but then there is usually something that takes it too far in this case the wheels.

I noticed that all the cars that Chip Foose designs are perfect in every way, except he has to put those stupid, giant, chrome wheels on em, its ruined so many designs. I guess its all part of this insanley moronic "bling" era everything has to be "pimpin" I swear too many ppl are being corrupted, and too many cars are being wasted by this whole rap video fantasy. I saw a gnx at a car show a few months back with 24 inch gold 100 spoke wheels, it almost made me puke, does anyone think of performance anymore?? Or is this countries car culture slowly going down the tubes??
The goal was unique elanor, and it was achieved. 22s out back and 20s up front looked wicked. The car was already tubbed some by the owner, so no loss there. The tail lights were of shelby origin IMO. The look on the owners face was priceless, so stop your whining and critiquing [sm=bling.gif]
I like what Chip did to the 67! But I agree with PowerKord, it didn't need 22's. I think it's a fad. But I'm more of a classic muscle car kinda guy. I'm all about the stance.
I'm just wondering why he didn't put spinners on! haha!
