Default change the cat. name from 4.6 to sn95/edge

i say we change the group to something other than 4.6 tech because there really isnt a whole lot of 4.6 tech here just everything else. or maybe even make some sub groups so if you are sick of hearing about the same exhaust/spring/cai/udp questions every week after week you dont have to.

i hear people asking about gears, tires, udp's, tuners, and a lot of common things all day, at least once a week theres a new guy asking an old beat up question, which either just piles up in the forums, or makes codes and other admins jobs harder, by cleaning things up.

i think code needs to do a complete write up on all bolt ons, or just gather whats been done already, and stick it
i also think the first page to this section should be ALL STICKEYS, and the font needs to be twice as big on them, and twice as bold. i wish you could make it so people had to read all the stickies, like a 'terms of agreement' before they signed up, that would be awesome.

or instead of bitching about it you could always just not read those threads.

i hate how when theres a good tech question, ten useless posts push it to page 2 so it gets no replies. so i just hit other forums or search for the info i need. they wont read the stickies, but it might help. i dont see other forums having this problem half as bad as us though.

thats my point all the useless post make it real difficult to help somebody that actually needs it. ive been on so many other forums that this never happens on. aparently nobody can use the big old search button to do anything. google helps out a lot too. but i already got yelled at for complaining about it. i guess more people need to actually voice their opinion to actually get something changed.

the reason other forums don't have this problem is that they have about 1/4 to 1/2 the members that we have here.

don't you think that this thread here is doing the same pushing the valid threads down?

Which is exactly why it should be in forum issues and I guess since nobody could let it die and then make the thread there, I'll be moving this one there.

yup. and i'll be locking it.

Repeat questions are part of life. We have a big site with alot of new members. They are going to ask the same questions and may not be familiar with the search feature.....which kinda sucks anyway IMO. If a guy has a question, he should ask it.....if you can't handle scrolling past it, then you need help.
