How come I can't post in other areas?

How come I can't post in other areas?
I have been wanting to comment and post in different areas on the site but it says that my account isn't allowed to. Can someone please tell me how to fix that or how to gain control of posting in other sections rather than just the newbie sections. Any one with insite please help.

come on guys someone has to know the answer to this...
blk05srt4, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:
Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.
