I have been here sense 06 and have over 50 post but still cannot post my car for sale in the classifieds..

I'll look into it, but first you have to tell me some details about your 85 SSP :) Do you know which agency used it? It looks sweet!

EDIT: OK - looking back at your post history, you need to have 50 RECENT posts, despite having been here for a long time. It's the software; not us deciding to be mean to you. Keep posting in the tech sections and you'll have that classified access soon. By my count, you're only 9 posts away...

Thanx.. I was told the car was a South Carolina Police car. Granted it doesn't look nothing like a police car now it shows signs of being an SSP car..

It has the 140 MPH speedo, it has a foctory installed trunk release with the button located in the dash right about at your left knee, and it has one key to fit all eg; ingnition, doors, and trunk all us the same key. I really want to sell the car.. I have a few other expenses right now that the car just doesn't fit into like a daughter going to college.

I see you were able to finally post the ad in the classifieds section. Nice ride. I'll post it up on the two SSP forums.

How "recent" is considered "recent"? Is there a timeframe at which original posts start to drop off and not count any more?

I don't know of an exact cut-off. After the site was upgraded a while ago, issues like limited access due to inactivity became more common. The idea behind limiting access to active members was to reduce the number of new members who would join just to get free advertising for their cars/parts/stuff. Plus, the more-active members are generally better known to others, so they should be a more reliable seller than somebody trying to unload their stuff to unsuspecting members.

I know that doesn't answer your question directly, but that's the best answer I could come up with. :icon_shrug:
