Being Spammed in Private Messages

Dear Moderator of Mustang Forums,

Myself, Criticalmass, and certainly others are receiving the following message in our Private Messages section from a member named, 'Nyke'. Is this permissible?

No i am not spamming. I used to be a active member on this forum. I joined another forum. I still lurk other forums and chime into stuff that perks my interest. I am just trying to let people know of Fast Ford Muscle, we reward our members with points based on their posts and they can spend these points for raffle prizes. Everything you read is true.

Fine, but what you are doing is against Mustang Forum policy.

Specifically rule 5 which states,

"5. Selling or solicitation of ANYTHING in the general forum, by Private Message or in Chat is considered Spam and is not allowed."

Also rules, "7. No promotions of other related sites."

and, "8. You are not allowed to post links that lead to an affiliate program."

Get the picture? And I da*n sure don't want to get what essentially an advertisement in my Private Message folder. And I am not the first member to complain about you, go to the root level of the forum and see for yourself.
