Default Water leak/electrical malfunction

Hi! I have a ‘14 GT and one of the electrical modules behind the glove compartment shorted out. There was water on everything and water damage on the circuit board of the module we removed. I checked the drain behind the firewall and it wasn’t completely blocked but did have some sticky residue/mud in it. Due to this, car will not start or do anything. There was a small trail of water near the drain and it looked to me like it got in through the cabin filter.

Has anyone else had a similar issue and what did you do to resolve it? I know leaking as been an issue since the ‘05 model but I do not have a musty smell in the car and have had no issues with finding the carpet wet....and it’s a convertible. Basically there was nothing to alert me that there was water there until it fried everything.
