Ive been in the process of purchasing new tires for my 2000 ford mustang gt. I was looking for some suggestions on what tires will be real good for my car.. Im willling to sacrifice some tire life for a more performance tire. I was going to buy some goodyears that are the same as what comes from the factory but the 180 to 250 price range is more than im willing to spend for each tire. Id like to keep the price range around 125 or less per tire but can pay more. I drive my car daily which now has 81,000 miles on it . Any ideas or suggestions will be greatly appreciated

Look around and read all the surveys and reviews to get a better idea of what you might like to buy. You can even do a search on Mustang owners only for any given tire review. Almost impossible to find better deals than this anywhere else. Discount Tire is another source. Good luck with your ride!

I have a set of the avons in the same size. They are the best all-season tire I have ever had. They were even manageable in 2 inches of snow.

I have the Sumitomo HRT Z II's and I have no complaints at all. Of course, they aren't what you would want if you live someplace that gets snow a lot.
