First of all, if the car's been sitting for a couple hours,it's kind of hard to start, meaning it stutters before it starts.
The second problem i think is in my transmission.I have an automatic but sometimes it seems that it won't upshift,i have to take my foot off gas and on again and it works fine.
Any suggestions?thanks

first off try a good tune up

and a tune up isnt a oild change and plugs
its a oil change, plugs plug, wires, cap and rotor, clean the throttle body and have it scaned to make sure all the sensors are working properly

second it will runn some pretty high rpm when your accelerating.
