Default removing hubs from brake drums

can anyone tell me how to remove the hub from a brake drun. i bought some new drums fo the front of my 65 but cant seem to tell how to get the others seperated. thanks, wendell.

There's an adjustment wheel on the backside of the backing plate.Turn this to bring the brake shoes in so that they will clear the ridge that builds up on the outside edge of the drum.If they have been on there for awhile you might have to use a hammer to get them broken loose from the axle.They don't require a lot of force but be firm.

He is asking how to separate the hub from the drum. I think you misunderstood. It's been a while since I worked on one but I beleive the hub and drum are held together by the studs. If I remember correctlly, you have to drive the studs out to separate the two.

Have you inquired in the classic stang section?
