New 2006 GT will not start in park

I have a new 2006 GT. This morning I turned off the car and the key was a little stiff in pulling out of the ignition. When I tried to start the car later it would not start in park. I will only start in neutral. I have tried everything I can think of. It goes to the dealer tomorrow. Anyone else had this problem or heard of this problem. Thanks.

Its probly the neutral safety switch or the ignition switch.

Have someone step on the brake pedal and see if you have brake lights.If you dont have brake lights then you may need a brake switch thats located on the brake pedal assy.
