want to upgrade my 3.9L what should i do???
I know close to nothing about cars...however I do know that my 2004 v-6 3.9L Mustang is very slow needless to say. So, I'm looking for the cheapest and easiest ways to add hp. What would you guys suggest? I've got all the show....but no go. All I have is a GT true dual exhaust system (take-offs)...they made it sound real nice, but still no pick-up...
thanks,
Matt

a set of 4.10 gears and a t-lok or detroit true track if you plan on going F/I
a nice 100 shot will help wake it up, so would an 11 psi procharger from VMPtuning.com, or you could always do twin turbos from TMA.
other then that, basic bolt-ons, SCT tuner, gears with lsd, 42% U.D pullies, 65 mm TB with a ported intake, so suspention work you can be down in the upper 14s

Don't listen to any of this. If you start modding that V6 with bolt ons you'll have so many engine problems it's not even funny. That small engine can't handle all those mods. If it were me I'd be happy with that V6 with the true dual and maybe through on a K&N Intake. Your looking at a lot of money trying to do bolt ons in the first place, and you got to take into account the road ahead. Bolt ons are nothing, but trouble.

ya just because yuor attaching a supercharger or a turbo does't mean your going to running 400-500 at the wheels (like a v8) hahah in that case he might just blow his engine rather quickly.
but if he kept it at a safe level.. 300 to the rear wheels with like a pulley good to 10 PSI.. then he should be fine. just dont have a pulley making 20 PSI.
