I'm converting my 2001 Mustang GT from 5spd man to 4r70w automatic transmission.
I'm going to get the PCM(car computer) from the junkyard. I need to know what years will work for my car. My body style was fron 99-04 sugesting that these are the year range I'm looking for. But I don't know.

I think I mean PCM not CPU. I need the car computer.

My 2001 auto has a 4r70w so I know a 2001 will work.

This is suprising, I never heard of anyone doing a 5Spd - Auto conversion Good luck, you'll love it (if you build it up)
