check timing and not sure it has wires or not but make sure they are on correctly in the correct order

Check your grounds. This is one of the things people forget to hook back up when they do an engine swap.

I'm not familiar with the Sunbird. But sometimes there is a ground strap from the engine to the chassis

well theres a small like bracket off the starter that holds it to the engine, and i think thats where the grounds are supposed to go but its too hard to get them on there so i put them back on the bracket that holds the driveshaft up or something....but if i had em backwards then it wouldnt crank right? ill check the wires tomorrow but what else could it be besides the grounds and ****

edit....any replies tonight would be awesome

Did you reuse all the basic sensors like the maf/map, iat, iac...etc, or are you using used ones that came with the motor? You said you're getting fuel.....but are you getting the correct psi? If you're getting spark, air/fuel and good compression it sounds like it's sensor related....if it was me i'd get the specs or the sensors and use a mulit-meter to check them....i'd also clean the iac and the maf filements if it has those sensors.
