what if they suit the car well...
i dont like alot of the wheels that are on most mustangs, i only TRUELY like cobra r's and ponys and even still those are reallllly common, im sure theres a set of ricey rims that will suit a mustang... has to be..

It's just a generic way of describing the wheel offset for lazy manufacturers and retailers who don't want to bother putting anyone in charge of maintaining the website or brochure data with specific offsets. FWD wheels can generally be thought of as higher than +25 offset, and RWD as everything lower than that. I would definitely find out the actual offset before committing to anything.
This should all go away soon with cars like the 05 Mustang having a huge +45-50mm offset.. which has pretty much been a Subaru only offset for years.
