I'm new- 4.6 Engine differences?
 

Hi, my name is Mike and I came from knowing everything about SHOs to almost nothing about Mustangs. I know the 4.6 was started in '96 or '97 and is still being used today, but I've heard about 2,3, and 4 valve versions. Which engine was in what year mustang? Thanks, this looks like a great site!

96-98 mustang gt's.. 2v motor and non-pi.
99-04 gt's....2v motor and pi....It's the heads, cams, and intake that makes a 99-04 make more power than a 96-98
96-04 cobras... 4v
03-04 cobras are supercharged..
05+ gt's are the 3v
