If you ever want to sell it within the next 2 to 35 years... get the cobra. Jus look at the older Cobras... for '94-'95 they're selling for a good 2-5k more than the GT's, 99's are selling for a good 4-6k more.

Used '05 GTs are already selling for less than 25k with low miles

I think in general most people would say the cobra is better. I agree. It has a better block and can handle bolt on HP gians very well.

cobra. hands down. one of the sexiest Mustangs ever made in my opinion. gorgeous car...fast from the factory...and with a little bit of money...can be made ridiculous.

4V, forged, IRS, SVT, incredible front and rear bumpers, heat extractor hood, supercharged from the factory, 6 speed....the list just goes on and on.

Cobra. Ford says 390hp but its more like 425. People have thrown stock 03/04 Cobras on dynos and the get 360-370 at the wheels. The 05s are only 300. Get the Cobra. You put a smaller pulley on the Cobra and your well into the 12s. Cobras run 12.9s in stock form, 05's run 13.5's. Get the Cobra.
