Default opinion on stuff about to order

im about to order a flowmast american thunder cat-back and a bbk CAI from summit and probaly weld on tips while im at it. Down the road i might do bbk shorty headers and MAYB a o/r bbk or mac h-pipe. Then in the summer i wanna get chrome bullets and 245 45 17 up front 275 40 17 out back and thats a 17X9 from mustang tuning. Im just wondering wat u guys think about this stuff i just got my lisence and i love the car (174,000 miles tho) and i dont no if all the stuff i wanna do to it is worth it. Much more down the road i wanna do 3.73's (everyday driver and concerned about gas) its an auto and rebuild my trac lok, a shift kit and tranny cooler, some more for looks, and im not sure what else

please let me know wat u think, and dont pick on me cuz im a noob but i know a little bit and have been workin on cars for a few years in my uncles shop

thanks a lot
cory

a cai is key.....if your exhaust and tb/p is redone.....but with that many miles i wouldnt put too much
money into the car, its still fast, spending a couple g's for a few hp may not be worth it at this time

congrats on the purchase, nice first car

IMO if the car your talking about is the one you have pictured then I would say it looks more than worth it to do a rebuild. In fact, I would probably put aside the upgrades you were looking at for the time being and save up for the rebuild, or possibly a new short block with forged internals, that way you have a solid foundation to work with for many years to come.

ya i think im gunna put half the money i have/am making for looks and small mods and save the rest to rebuild it.

the only reason i dont no if i should do a really nice engine and rebuild the auto and all that is because i dont know how long it will b before everything else will start to go and it will b a big money pit???

im grateful for ur comments and help, keep them coming
