Generally the SSP cars had a bigger alternator, silicone hoses, certified speedometer, and thats really about it, as for performance it will be about the same as a stock stang from the same year.

Most Mustangs I see are driven hard! Im not sure if they also have the oil and tranny coolers, but if they do, they can take the abuse a ton better than a stocker. You can rack mileage on a P71 Vic as long as you change your fluids. The coolers really help, but I dont know if they had them on the Mustangs?
