Hi my coolant light on dash board is lit, sooo i I guess i must need
some however the radiator looks full, and i was told don't mix different kinds of coolant, is that true...[sm=smiley29.gif]

Depedning on miles it's probably not a bad idea to change it and flush the system. I don't know anying specific about that, I could be wrong but I woudlnt' worry about it. Just make sure to check if you're getting premixed coolant or not. If it's not premixed then you'll have to water it down about half and half.

And always buy 50/50 its just easier and youre sure to have a 50/50 mix.

You could have an air bubble in the system if it seems full.

Yeah, and the solution is to buy one, it'll even tell him where to fill the car up, where the steering wheel is, how to use the mystical defrosters, what octane gas to use, what kind of coolant, what kind of oil.........mandatory book to have, right up there next to a full-blown service manual.

We are hear to help you with all your questions, but it is a good idea to use your owners manual or buy one from Ford if not available.. And also go buy a bible too "Chilton" it'll answer all questions if we are unable to oblige
