lol and I thought that I made up my mind
this is killing me! I thought I had made up my mind of which gear to get out of the 3.73's or 4.10's but then I found this website www.stangnet.com and read some of the reviews on the differant gears...and alot of ppl said that they didnt like the 3.73's that there wasnt that big of a differance in the seat of the pants feel but the ppl who bought 4.10's praised them!
I want 2 notice a differance when I install the gears so I'm wondering how much time will the 3.73's vs. 4.10's in the 1/4 mile give me? one thing I wouldnt like about the 4.10's is that I heard that fist and second gear go by REAL FAST and I would prolly find that annoying.
I"m gonna b ordering the gears in a day or 2 and I really dont wanna make a wrong choice on which gear I get so ur guys opinions would really help....thanks

RE: lol and I thought that I made up my mind
I put 3.73's in my 88 AOD Stang and loved them. they are definitely the way to go IMO if you want some more get up and go without sacrificing decent gas mileage and the use of 1st and 2nd gear. you oughta see how short my 1st gear is now with the 4.57 gears I'm using now at the track. with the original 2.73's, I could do the 1/8 mile in 2nd gear, now I'm in 3rd well before the 1/8 mile mark.
